Lessons & Pricing
Generally, 30-minute lessons are ideal for children between the ages of 5 and 15. This gives the child the right amount of concentration time to stay focused. Physically, an hour can sometimes feel demanding, especially for instruments such as drums and guitar.
60-minute lessons are more appropriate for older teenagers and adults. You’ll be able to improve more quickly, make greater progress, and get more from each lesson thanks to the additional time available.
Weekly Lesson Prices
- 30-minute lesson (all instruments) – £18.00
- 45-minute lesson (all instruments) – £25.00
- 60-minute lesson (all instruments) – £33.00

Discounted Standing Order Information
The standing order is taken monthly and costs £59.50 for 30-minute lessons or £112.00 for 60-minute lessons. Ideally, please set up your standing order as close to the start of the month as possible.
This payment is spread over 12 months and takes into account the 10 weeks of holiday closures throughout the year. Dates for school closures are available on our website should you wish to make a note of them.
We calculate the standing order by considering the 10 weeks of leave we take annually. The remaining lesson fees are then distributed across the 42 teaching weeks of the year. You are not charged for the weeks designated as holidays.
How the Discount Works
- £59.50 × 12 months = £714.00 ÷ 42 lesson weeks = £17.00 per weekly 30-minute lesson
- £112.00 × 12 months = £1,344.00 ÷ 42 lesson weeks = £32.00 per weekly 60-minute lesson
Lesson Cancellations & Credits
Things crop up and sometimes we can’t make a music lesson. We ask for 24 hours notice to cancel and rearrange your lesson. There will be a 100% lesson fee charge if less than 24 hours notice is given. This can be paid upon attending your next lesson. Any lessons cancelled within the 24-hour cancellation window will be noted and can be caught up during the 10 weeks of holiday periods throughout the year or during gaps we have in tutor diaries.
Refunds will no longer be issued for missed lessons. Instead, lesson credits will be added to your account and can be used during the available catch-up weeks and weekly gaps.
