Vania

Vania is a classically trained soprano and pianist currently in her final year of a BMus Music degree at the University of Sheffield. She holds ABRSM Grade 8 in Singing and Grade 7 in Piano, and brings a thoughtful, student-focused approach to music education.

With experience ranging from opera at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre to musicals and music tours in Italy and France, Vania brings both versatility and depth to her teaching. She has also completed a summer course at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Vania offers lessons that are tailored to each student’s goals – whether you’re preparing for graded exams, building confidence, or simply learning for fun. She is also open to teaching a wide variety of styles, including musicals, jazz, and pop, particularly for beginners.

Her teaching style is a balance between friendly encouragement and focused, constructive feedback, helping students grow in a way that’s both amiable and effective. Vania’s priority is to create a welcoming and supportive space where students feel comfortable being expressive and growing as confident performers.

Having been taught by a wide range of teachers herself, Vania knows how to adapt her approach to suit different learning styles and musical tastes. She aims to make every lesson memorable, practical, and enjoyable – so students not only improve but truly enjoy the process!
