Say hello to Clare!

Clare comes from London and now lives in Dronfield with her husband and son. Since moving here, Clare has found her way in the Sheffield music scene. Clare had a deep passion for the guitar since she was a young girl and looked up to the female leaders in rock, however her career in sports took her in a different direction. As an adult Clare picked up music again seriously and now can’t live without it. She’s gained performance experience touring with an all Female Guns N Roses band playing the part of “Izzy” and then going on to share lead duties for “Slash”.

Clare is now a permanent member of the well established band Metropolis, playing lead guitar. Clare is passionate about inspiring the next generation of young musicians and has an empathetic approach, with a keen interest in supporting children with SEN gained through experiences with her own son.

Clare has many years of experience designing and delivering CPD to Personal Trainers and Rehabilitation Specialists and wants to combine her love of teaching with her love of music. Being someone who has struggled with traditional  teaching, Clare loves to help people find their way of learning, getting people motivated with realistic achievable goal setting and supporting adult beginners to realise that it’s never too late to start!
